Wow! What a week it has been ...
On Thursday we found out that our Spring Break Haiti Trip was canceled. There was a scheduling conflict and our team will not be able to go at this time. We have been rescheduled for the summer, so we will continue to look forward to that, but will not have all the amazing team members we were originally planning on because of summer internships/jobs/etc which is kinda a bummer. We were all disappointed, but know that God has much in store, and my prayer was always that He would open and close the doors He wanted opened and shut. Our team will be going on a few different trips now, some to Mexico, some possibly to Nicaragua, and since Thursday God has opened the doors for me to go on an Australia mission trip! I have had a heart for Australia for the last four years or so and I am thrilled that He has provided for me to go now! Please pray for our team as we go to share His love with a completely different group of people than I would have imagined myself serving this spring break. I am amazed at how incredibly faithful He is and He continually blows my mind! We know that our God truly does work all things together for good for those who love Him who are called according to His purpose! Midterms are insane right now and I should be working on a presentation now :/ ... back to work

So, I have a blog?

Well, I would have never expected myself to actually have one of these. (I'm guessing a lot of people probably have something to this effect in their first blog post) But, as I prepare to go to Haiti for the third time this upcoming March and I see all that is happening with Project Fifteen, I realized this would probably be the best way to keep you all updated on what God is doing in my life. I cannot wait to share with you all as I go on this journey: to Haiti, with Project Fifteen, and just life in general!
